About the park
One of Costa Rica's most treasured protected areas, where dense tropical rainforest meets pristine Pacific coastline.
Manuel Antonio National Park may be one of Costa Rica's smallest national parks, but it is widely considered among the most beautiful places on Earth. Tucked along the central Pacific coast near Quepos, it blends dense tropical rainforest with white-sand beaches and turquoise coves.
Within its 1,983 hectares live 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds — including three-toed sloths, white-faced capuchin monkeys, scarlet macaws, and the rare squirrel monkey. Our certified naturalist guides carry high-magnification spotting scopes to help you see wildlife you'd otherwise walk right past.
Park capacity is strictly regulated to protect this fragile ecosystem, which is why advance reservations are strongly recommended.
